Terms
Effective date: June 30, 2026.
PYLI5 is a free educational website that helps people learn Python through plain-English explanations, examples, and small projects. By using the site you agree to these terms. They’re written to be readable, not to trip you up.
Educational purpose. Everything on PYLI5 is provided for learning. Lessons, code examples, and projects are teaching material — simplified to make a concept clear, not hardened for production use.
Using the code. You’re welcome to use and adapt the code examples in your own learning and projects. Before using any example in something real, test and review it for your own environment and requirements. You are responsible for the code you run.
Content ownership. The lessons, written explanations, and original examples on PYLI5 are the site’s own content. You may use them for personal learning. Please don’t republish the content wholesale as your own.
Acceptable use. Use the site for learning, and don’t try to disrupt it, abuse the interactive exercises, or break the experience for other readers.
No warranty. PYLI5 is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the content is error-free or that any example fits a particular purpose, and we make no promise of any specific job, certification, or career outcome.
Limitation of liability. To the extent allowed by law, PYLI5 and its author are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the site or its code examples.
Changes. Content and these terms may be updated or corrected over time as lessons are improved. The effective date above shows the latest version.
